Hi loves!! I’m SO SO sorry for the mini hiatus, life really has taken over and I’ve been so swamped with work projects, and personal things going on. I hope you guys forgive me? ;)

Today’s outfit was so much fun to shoot! We found this amazing fence in South Park that was perfect for this outfit.  I love how the colors in the words LOVE meshed well with my moto jacket. ;) I had a lot of fun layering these colors together, and the cut out detail in this black dress really made the outfit unique!

Have a great day!

Outfit details: Top: H&M, Shorts: California Vintage Connect (similar here), Booties: Zigi Soho (similar here), Bracelets: Forever 21 (similar here), Sunglasses: Tom Ford

Can you believe that it was hailing in San Diego this past weekend? I’m still in shock, but the sound of hail beating on my window with the pouring rain was surprisingly calming.  I spent this whole weekend relaxing and trying to feel better from being sick on Saturday.  It consisted of hanging out with my boyfriend while he was studying for finals, spending time with my little pup, and browsing through my huge pile of magazines for inspiration. ;) I love this cityscape tank top from H&M, I contrasted this black and white palette with colorful bracelets!

Have a great Monday!  Time to get back on that work and working out grind. ;)

Who else is having a hard time adjusting to Daylight Savings?? I have been feeling so jet lagged this week, it’s been messing up with my workflow.  But this outfit really blends my feelings right now, I’m currently loving the black/white tones mixed in with a pop of prints.  This outfit has been keeping me sane and on the right track this week during this time change haha! :)

Today’s Outfit: Opposite Ends

Photography by Joshua Allen Green, Makeup/hair by Stacey Lete

Outfit details: Skirt: Naven c/o ShopModerne (buy here), Top: Forever 21 (similar here), Leather jacket: Forever 21 (similar here), Trench vest: Thrifted (similar in black), Booties: Zigi Soho

Layering different textures and prints of black & white keeps an outfit interesting yet polished since it’s in the same color palette! :) I loveee this new Naven skirt from ShopModerne.com, the sequined details portrays a fun party mood that brightens up this monochromatic look.

After being OBSESSED with this Burberry trench coat with leather sleeves last Fall, I knew I could never afford it, so why not make my own version on the coat!  It was such a simple task, I found this trench coat vest at a thrift store and layered my textured leather jacket underneath to create the same effect.  Now I’m on the hunt to find a colored trench coat for a Spring time feel! ;)

Photography by Joshua Allen Green

Outfit details: Leopard coat: H&M, Shorts: Forever 21, Top: Just Lov3 Boutique, Booties: Zigi Soho, Jewelry: Vintage

I fell in love when I saw this coat at H&M two years ago.  Even after two years the leopard trend is still around and I can’t imagine why not! ;)   This coat is definitely a statement piece for this shorts & top outfit.  Thank you San Diego for another sunny day. ;)   Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Today’s Outfit: Abstract Prints

Outfit details: Coat: Kenneth Cole, Top: Thrifted, Skirt: Forever 21, Jewelry: Vintage, Booties: Zigi Soho

Time to turn up the wow-factor! Mixing prints together is probably one of the most fun things to do when styling an outfit.  It’s daring and you’re definitely taking risks when tackling new prints! :)   I love this black/white skirt because the colors give it a neutral touch, which ties in the look together.  I found this bib necklace at a thrift store for only $3 and thought it would be the perfect finishing touch to this crazy-busy outfit.  ;)

Would you dare to mix prints??

Today’s Outfit: Once in a Blue Moon

Photography by Joshua Allen Green, Makeup/hair by Shrae Stanford

Outfit details: Dress: Foreign Exchange, Jacket: Talbots, Booties: Zigi Soho, Jewelry: Forever 21

I found this insane tweed salt&pepper jacket for only $15 at a consignment shop!  It fits so well and the material is perfect for the colder days (even though it’s 80 degrees in San Diego!).  The pop of color against this textured jacket acts as a great counter-balance.  I’m loving vibrant colors at the moment, pairing these pieces together is great for going out at night with the girls!

ALSO, I can’t wait to share with you a new feature that I will be doing on my blog, you’ll see this particular outfit in a whole new light…stay tuned. ;)
