Happy belated Valentine’s Day everyone!!  I hope your day was full of love and happiness with your friends and loved ones. :)  My Valentine’s day was so much fun! We had tons of sweet goodies at the office, which definitely kept the energy level high the entire day!  Afterwards I hung out with some of my coworkers and had a great time eating at this burger joint, Sketch, in Philly! It was my first Valentine’s day in awhile not spent with my boyfriend, but I did get a surprise in the mail at work from him! He gave me Mrs. Fields cookiessss!! And if you know me, I love cookies way too much.  He knows me so well. ;)

I scored this Free People dress at a consignment store in San Diego and love the sweater material feel of it.  It’s so comfortable yet hugs all the right curves in your body. I thought this dress was most appropriate for Valentine’s. <3

Hi guys!

I hope you’re having a great weekend so far! I just came back from brunch with a co-worker at this adorable place in Philly called Green Eggs Cafe! It was so delicious, and good thing we went early because when we got out of the restaurant the line was SO long!! NY Fashion Week has kicked off this past Thursday and I hope everyone is okay during the snow storm!  Thankfully the snow didn’t hit Philly too bad, so we’re good for now. ;) I’m finally settled into my new studio apartment and I’m so excited to decorate my cute, adorable space.  I’ll be sure to show you pictures soon!

In today’s look, I am wearing one of my favorite jackets by one of my favorite brands, BB Dakota!  I love the aztec inspired print and the more muted pastel colors, which is more up my alley.  I paired it with maroon leggings, an oversized sweater, and some fun suede booties!  As you probably know by now, this color palette is one of my faves! <3

Have a great weekend everyone!

Outfit details: Sweater: ZARA; Dress (styled as a skirt): Free People; Booties: Dolce Vita; Hat: Cotton On (similar); Bag: DSW

I found this gorgeous dark teal/silver Free People dress at my favorite consignment store and it was at the right time! I love the holidays and this dress is a perfect touch of sparkle and glitter without all the fuss. :)  I styled this dress as a skirt for a more daytime casual look.  This knit sweater from ZARA keeps this look comfy & cozy! I accessorized with stockings (must-have staple this season!) and black accessories for a fun, daytime outfit!

I’m ALMOST done packing and my dad is coming down to help me pack and clean up before we make our drive up to the Bay Area for Christmas! Me and my boyfriend went to Disneyland earlier this week and it was so much fun to see all the amazing Christmas decor and see all the new rides and attractions! If you haven’t been to Disneyland during the holidays it’s a must! <3

Keep warm loves!! ;)

Today’s Outfit: I’m READY!

Outfit details: Dress, Cardigan, Necklace: Free People; Arrow necklace: c/o Lilac Bijoux; Beanie: Cotton On; Booties: GoJane

Hi loves!

As you might remember in a previous post, I have HUGE news to tell all of my amazing readers. Are you ready?? ….

You’re looking at the newest Web Stylist for Free People at the Urban Outfitters’ headquarters!! :) And, the headquarters is based in PHILADELPHIA! I’m moving to the East Coast, baby! I am beyond excited and still in shock.  It’s been a huge dream of mine to move to the East Coast, and I’m finally starting to achieve my dreams in my career!

It’s been a long but worthwhile journey getting to where I am in my styling career, and I cannot be more thankful for all of my loved ones’ support and encouragement.  I don’t think I could have done it without you guys (you know who you are!).  As you might know, I started styling about four years ago in college and have fell in love with this career ever since.  I’ve always been interested in fashion but I knew that fashion design wasn’t for me.  I’m more about the overall vision and aesthetics, so styling just worked perfectly!  There have definitely been a lot of ups and downs throughout these four years, but I overcame and dealt with each obstacle head on, thanks to my amazing team and support system!!

Here’s to a new and exciting chapter in my life! Philadelphia ain’t ready for me. ;)

I want to thank all of my amazing readers for your constant support and loyalty, this blog is almost hitting its 1 year anniversary and the success is all thanks to YOU! Thank you thank you thank you!! I’ll be sure to keep up with this blog when I move to Philly and share with you all my new experiences!  And if you recommend any places I have to see, eat, or any good areas to live in South Philly that you can suggest that’d be amazing!!

AHHH! <3

love you all!

Today’s Outfit: Slashed Baroque

Photos by Kyle Ong

Outfit details: Shorts: MINKPINK c/o Lulus; Top: Leidi from DJPremium (similar); Jacket: Target; Booties: GoJane.com (similar); Necklace: gifted Sira & Mara USA; Hat: Cotton On (similar)

Hi everyone!! Is it really Fall in San Diego!?  Stepping outside to the cool, crisp air and wind  made me so excited to finally wear all my Fall coats and layers!  Yesterday was me and my boyfriend’s 8th year anniversary! (yes on 11.11 hehe) He definitely knows me, he took me on a SHOPPING SPREE! As a stylist and fashionista, that was the best present ever, aside from being with him also. ;) And as for me, I love buying clothes for him (I’m pretty much his stylist haha) so I found this amazing jacket in a cognac brown color that he doesn’t have yet.  It looked great on him!

These MINKPINK slashed baroque shorts are perfect for Summer and Fall!  To make it Fall appropriate, I paired it with darker and heavier layers.  The fall essentials — tights, booties, jacket & felt hat — are much needed to create an amazing Fall look!

Have an amazing week! Thank you for reading. :)

Today’s Outfit: Election Day!

Photography by Josh Green

Outfit details: Dress: Maurie & Eve c/o Melt Management; Bracelet: c/o StyleMined; Heels: BCBG

Hi everyone!

Did you vote?? I sure did!  What do you think of the results?? I thought this dress was appropriate for election day, it has a subtle print and color palette that is true to America’s red (looks kinda like pink in the dress), white & blue!  I decided to keep this look clean and sophisticated with strappy heels, a detailed cuff and ring.  Have a great day!

Today’s Outfit: Fallen Leaves

Outfit details: Jacket: OASAP.com; Boots and Dress: gifted nowistyle.jp; Hat: Cotton On (similar); Bag: London Fog; Lace top: H&M (similar)

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great Halloween :)  I can’t believe it’s the first of NOVEMBER, time flies by sooo fast.  I decided to sit this Halloween out and relax at home after completing my huge projects at work.  It definitely felt amazing. ;)

This is for sure my Fall appropriate look that highlights LAYERING.  I love layering different textures together to create a cohesive Fall look.  I’ve been on the lookout for utility style parkas and anoraks and this beige one from OASAP is amazing! It fits perfectly and is perfect to layer with!  And this gorgeous velvet dress and high boots are Fall essentials to create an error-free Fall outfit.

What’s your favorite thing about Fall??

Outfit details: Dress: Maurie & Eve c/o Melt Management; Necklace: TJ Maxx; Purse: Cuore & Pelle c/o Style Mined; Heels: JS by Jessica Simpson

Seriously, Maurie & Eve can do no wrong. Their beautiful dresses got me obsessed with the peplum trend AND their gorgeous prints.  Plus the sheer back is such a fun little surprise. ;) My new cream purse from Style Mined is amazing and one of a kind! I love the classic color, shape and the fact that it can basically fit my entire life in it!

This week is pretty hectic for me, I’ve been busy with planning lookbooks, feature shoots, and more for work.  Please forgive me for not writing much today! :) I’ll make it up to you guys soon, promise. <3
