Hello everyone! My weekend was relaxing (much needed); I thrift store shopped looking for props for my upcoming lookbook shoot for work, and found amazing colored blazers, jewelry, and shoes! Today’s outfit is packed with red, black, florals and leather. Edgy with a feminine twist? Down. 😉
This week is going to be hectic at work, it will be packed with prepping for the lookbook, coordinating all the details and logistics, plus actually shooting the lookbook this Thursday. We scouted the hotel a couple of weeks ago and we will be shooting at the gorgeous Lafayette Hotel in San Diego. It has a great vintage feel and that is exactly what we’re going for (Vintage Americana). Stay tuned for behind the scenes pictures this week, I’m sure you’ll recognize our models. I’ll give you a hint, they are two huge fashion bloggers! 😉
I picked up this gorgeous color blocked jacket from Goodwill and fell in love. Its unique suede material and color-blocked pattern was something I couldn’t resist! And for $6 it was meant to be. 😉 Happy Birthday to my amazing and supportive boyfriend!! We went to Benihanas last night and the dinner was sooo delicious. I love you!!
TGIF…for real! It’s been a crazy week with work, my side projects, and this blog. But I’m loving the feeling of being busy! San Diego is too good to us today, highs in the 70s today? Perfect to run all over town prepping the last minute details for tomorrow’s Serendipity Magazine photoshoot!
Outfit details: Top & skirt: H&M, Blazer: White House Black Market, Bracelets: Vintage, Necklace & Shoes: Forever 21
Happy Monday! I’m starting the week off right with a super girly chic look. I love this skirt I bought at H&M because it’s incredibly comfortable and the length works very well for work. This blazer was such a steal that I found at Goodwill, can you believe it?! White House Black Market blazer for only $6! Gotta love thrift store shopping. 😉
My weekend was so nice and relaxing, I did a few errands, went thrift store shopping, and spent time with my boyfriend and family! I can’t wait for this weekend, I am currently prepping for an amazing shoot with a beautiful white horse. It’s going to be magical.
Happy Monday! This leopard maxi-dress was only $10 at a consignment shop! I knew that I wanted to layer up with dark colored tops to balance out the loud print, but this sheer black top from Just Lov3 Boutique had a cool print in the back that really livened up this outfit. Though it looked busy, I think mixing prints in unconventional ways really is the way to go!
How would you mix prints??
Also, I will be posting two Christmas holiday party looks that can be inspiration for your party looks! Check back soon 😉
