Hi guys!! So so sorry for the mini hiatus from the blog!  It’s been quite a journey getting used to living in Philly and working at Free People, but I feel more relaxed and am getting into the groove of everything. ;)  This week has been crazy, it finally hit 70+ degrees on Monday and it was beautiful!  It finally feels like Spring and I’m excited for the warmer weather.

Here’s a quick outfit I shot with a simpler color palette that I always turn to when I don’t know what to wear. I love this maroon leather jacket, it’s an instant “cool-girl” piece that makes any outfit edgier.  It’s so much more fun shooting in Philly as I live downtown and everything near me has cool walls, cute brownstone homes, and awesome architecture.

Have a great weekend and HAPPY FRIDAY!! <3

Happy belated Valentine’s Day everyone!!  I hope your day was full of love and happiness with your friends and loved ones. :)  My Valentine’s day was so much fun! We had tons of sweet goodies at the office, which definitely kept the energy level high the entire day!  Afterwards I hung out with some of my coworkers and had a great time eating at this burger joint, Sketch, in Philly! It was my first Valentine’s day in awhile not spent with my boyfriend, but I did get a surprise in the mail at work from him! He gave me Mrs. Fields cookiessss!! And if you know me, I love cookies way too much.  He knows me so well. ;)

I scored this Free People dress at a consignment store in San Diego and love the sweater material feel of it.  It’s so comfortable yet hugs all the right curves in your body. I thought this dress was most appropriate for Valentine’s. <3

Hi guys!

I hope you’re having a great weekend so far! I just came back from brunch with a co-worker at this adorable place in Philly called Green Eggs Cafe! It was so delicious, and good thing we went early because when we got out of the restaurant the line was SO long!! NY Fashion Week has kicked off this past Thursday and I hope everyone is okay during the snow storm!  Thankfully the snow didn’t hit Philly too bad, so we’re good for now. ;) I’m finally settled into my new studio apartment and I’m so excited to decorate my cute, adorable space.  I’ll be sure to show you pictures soon!

In today’s look, I am wearing one of my favorite jackets by one of my favorite brands, BB Dakota!  I love the aztec inspired print and the more muted pastel colors, which is more up my alley.  I paired it with maroon leggings, an oversized sweater, and some fun suede booties!  As you probably know by now, this color palette is one of my faves! <3

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi guys!

Here’s a quick post of my outfit on my first day at Free People! I think I’m starting to get used to this 30 degree weather. ;)  Everything’s going well here in Philly, yet I’m a bit homesick.  I miss all my friends and family back in California, but FaceTime is seriously a lifesaver haha.

Have a great weekend!

Happy New Year everyone! 2012 has been a crazy and amazing rollercoaster, full of ups, downs, and challenges and opportunities that I couldn’t have imagined.  Looking back at this past year in my previous post, I am so thankful and blessed for what life has brought me this year.  And because of that, I am even more ready and excited for 2013!  Do you have a New Year’s Resolution? I’m still working on mine. :)

I finally made the big move to the East Coast and am loving it in Philadelphia! Thankfully my dad is here for 2 weeks to help me move in and get settled. I’ll keep you all posted on my new adventure in Philly! <3

I look forward to 2013 with you all!

Today’s Outfit: Hint of Glitter

Outfit details: Sweater: ZARA; Dress (styled as a skirt): Free People; Booties: Dolce Vita; Hat: Cotton On (similar); Bag: DSW

I found this gorgeous dark teal/silver Free People dress at my favorite consignment store and it was at the right time! I love the holidays and this dress is a perfect touch of sparkle and glitter without all the fuss. :)  I styled this dress as a skirt for a more daytime casual look.  This knit sweater from ZARA keeps this look comfy & cozy! I accessorized with stockings (must-have staple this season!) and black accessories for a fun, daytime outfit!

I’m ALMOST done packing and my dad is coming down to help me pack and clean up before we make our drive up to the Bay Area for Christmas! Me and my boyfriend went to Disneyland earlier this week and it was so much fun to see all the amazing Christmas decor and see all the new rides and attractions! If you haven’t been to Disneyland during the holidays it’s a must! <3

Keep warm loves!! ;)

Happy Monday!

I am in love with these floral pants, I love how artistic the print looks.  It’s perfect for the day with light layers and gold accessories, and can easily be transitioned into night with black pieces!  In order to really make the pants stand out, I paired them with a boho-inspired top, clean and feminine heels, and a pop of color bag! <3

Seriously, Maurie & Eve can do no wrong. Their beautiful dresses got me obsessed with the peplum trend AND their gorgeous prints.  Plus the sheer back is such a fun little surprise. ;) My new cream purse from Style Mined is amazing and one of a kind! I love the classic color, shape and the fact that it can basically fit my entire life in it!

This week is pretty hectic for me, I’ve been busy with planning lookbooks, feature shoots, and more for work.  Please forgive me for not writing much today! :) I’ll make it up to you guys soon, promise. <3

Today’s Outfit: Moonlight Tribal

Outfit details: Dress: For Love & Lemons c/o Lobby; Jacket: UNIF c/o Lobby; Booties: MyHotShoes; Hat: Cotton On

Hi loves! Time to kick start this coming work week with a bang!  I absolutely love this For Love & Lemons dress, the bohemian vibe, flared sleeves, and cut out center detailing works wonders!  For Love & Lemons knows the exact places to emphasize a woman’s body, and their cut outs are their signature! To make this outfit a bit more fun, I layered over a UNIF tribal jacket with black faux fur lining for the ultimate bad-ass Fall look!

Have an amazing week!! <3
