Today is Friday, which means it’s time to make a BOLD statement!! I couldn’t get enough of Naven’s vibrant blue dress from Moderne, the sweetheart bodice, and gold rope straps create a unique dress that is sure to stand out amongst the crowd. I decided to up the wow-factor of this outfit with my sheer galaxy moto jacket to give it some edge and texture.

You must know by now how much I love the online boutique, Moderne, and speaking of which, I’ll be at The Sugar Room Summer Pop-Up Boutique event in Pacific Beach (San Diego) tomorrow with the lovely ladies from Moderne! HELLO again!! Oh man it’s been so long!  I just got home from the Bay Area (my hometown) for my sister’s wedding! :)  It was such a great weekend of family reunions, good times, and family bonding.  We had family visiting from Canada, Philippines, New York/New Jersey and more!  I think I ran out of tears from that day haha (happy tears of course!).  I’ll for sure post some pictures from that day later this week!  Right now I’m currently stuck at home sick with a fever and sore throat, I guess I partied too hard this weekend. :P

Today’s outfit highlights this gorggg For Love & Lemons dress from Lobby Store in Costa Mesa!  The high-low hemline, huge floral prints, and flowy material make an effortlessly chic and feminine look.  I kept the accessories simple and edgy with this spiked silver necklace, and a detailed chain and rope bracelet I got from Sira & Mara USA!

Ann Taylor Event with San Diego Magazine

Last Thursday Ann Taylor invited me to an exclusive sneak peek of their Pre-Fall collection and new concept store In Fashion Valley, hosted alongside San Diego Magazine! It was so much fun seeing all of their new visual displays and new layouts, it’s definitely a lot more open and customer friendly. :)  I brought my boyfriend Kyle along to take pictures and drink some free champagne with me haha!  Ann Taylor is best known for their sophisticated silhouettes and feminine detailing, and this unveiling of the Pre-Fall collection did not disappoint.  There were pops of color, neon accents, and clean and tailored suits, blazers, and one of a kind blouses I can’t get enough of! And as an added bonus, it was so great to finally meet fellow San Diego bloggers, Paulina from Lil Bits of Chic, and Rachel from Da Paura!

Happy belated 4th of July!! :) I hope you all enjoyed tanning at the beach, BBQing, or just relaxing and watching the fireworks with friends and fam. My day off was very relaxing and MUCH needed!  I watched the movie, “Ted” with my boyfriend, it was hilarious! ;) Definitely a must-see this summer.  I’m so glad we were able to get a mini-break this week as I am currently swamped prepping and styling for a huge Back to School photo-shoot next week! It’s definitely a lot of work and prepping but I know that the end result of all my hard work will be worth it. :) Just gotta keep pushing through til the end right??

Today’s outfit is one of my favorites! Clearly you can tell how much I lovee these leopard MINKPINK shorts! I decided to play up colorblocking again with yellow & green!  It was so much fun to wear this look and it was a great way to make a statement.

Happy Friday everyone!! The weather is gorgeous outside and it’s finally the weekend (almost hehe). ;) Today’s outfit is very laid back with a fun statement piece!  These tribal printed shorts were a deal from Marshalls ($14.99 compared to $28 retail value!). The flared sleeves on this gorgeous Mumu shirt is the perfect bohemian touch to this chill look. I accessorized it with fun printed wedges & colorful jewelry.

How was everyone’s weekend?? Mine was pretty eventful!  I watched Kevin Hart with friends on Friday (he’s so freakin hilarious if you get a chance to watch him live it’s a MUST!), and my boyfriend graduated from UCSD (my college also) yesterday!! His family traveled here from the Bay Area for the graduation and it was a great day with family and friends.  ALSO, Happy Father’s Day to my crazy, funny, & loving dad! Sucks I couldn’t see him since they all live in the Bay Area, but I’ll get to see him soon.

Today’s outfit is highlighting one of my favorite trends, PASTELS! These beanpole art jeans from Insight51 have such an amazing print for Summer.  The colors all work together and I decided to play up the pastels with an asymmetrical embellished top! I love how the colors flow nicely and I finished it off with chunky pumps and arm candy. :)

Featured: Marshalls

This past Wednesday I was featured on Marshalls’ Facebook page!! I bought this adorable Free People dress from Marshalls about 2 months ago and fell in love when I first saw it.  The sheer sleeves, ruched bodice, and adorable lilac color was the perfect romantic-dress for Summer.

It was originally $180 but I got it for $59.99! Great deal right?? Marshalls is one of my go-to stores for finding trendy AND affordable pieces.  The best part is they get new inventory every week so it’s good to stop by at least once a week to see their new arrivals before they sell out!

PHEW, today is finally Friday and I couldn’t be happier!  This week was filled with work, projects, and meetings, I’m exhausted BUT so grateful for all the opportunities that I received. :) Yesterday was such an exciting day for me, I was asked to style all the mannequins at Nordstrom Rack!! I’ll definitely elaborate on my crazy amazing experience this weekend, so stay tuned. If you’re in town, stop by the Nordstrom Rack in Mission Valley to see the mannequins!

Today’s outfit highlights my love of color blocking. I love this neon pink dress from Lovers + Friends, the lightweight chiffon material is a perfect dress to just throw on and hang out outdoors with friends!  It was pretty windy that day so it was fun too see how much the dress moves with the wind.  I paired it with this fitted green blazer that I scored at a thrift store for only $3!! Can you believe it?! The pastel statement necklace was one of my great finds at the local Therapie Boutique, a boutique on wheels!  It complemented the dress and green blazer and it felt like the perfect touch to a color-filled look.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I’m going to watch Kevin Hart tonight with friends! And my boyfriend is graduating from UCSD this Sunday! Fun filled weekend I can’t wait :)

Who else is obsessed with the neon craze this season?! I love this sheer neon cutout top from No Rest for Bridget, the high-low hem is on-trend and very flattering. I paired it with these leopard shorts from DJPremium, which are so comfortable and a perfect staple this season! :) I will definitely be wearing these shorts as long as I can.
