So today, Cinco de Mayo, is my birthday!! I turn 24 today and it’s my first birthday in Philadelphia! I had a great weekend, full of dance, laughs, great talks with friends, and relaxation. It was definitely what I needed. When I first saw this jacket at work, I fell in love and knew I had to get my hands on it. The beautiful embroidery throughout the jacket, the textured material, and the overall lightness of the jacket makes it such a special piece. This is my birthday present to myself, haha.
I hope you all had a great weekend!! Now it’s time to relax and watch movies on TBS, my guilty pleasure.
Hi guys!! So so sorry for the mini hiatus from the blog! It’s been quite a journey getting used to living in Philly and working at Free People, but I feel more relaxed and am getting into the groove of everything. This week has been crazy, it finally hit 70+ degrees on Monday and it was beautiful! It finally feels like Spring and I’m excited for the warmer weather.
Here’s a quick outfit I shot with a simpler color palette that I always turn to when I don’t know what to wear. I love this maroon leather jacket, it’s an instant “cool-girl” piece that makes any outfit edgier. It’s so much more fun shooting in Philly as I live downtown and everything near me has cool walls, cute brownstone homes, and awesome architecture.
I just wanted to share some outfits that I styled at work, now live on Free People! It’s seriously such a great feeling to see the entire team’s hard work pay off on the website. It’s been about a month now at Free People and everyday is a new and exciting challenge. <3
Hi guys! I’m so sorry for the lack of posts lately, I’m finally moving into my studio next weekend and I’ve had to pack up, yet again! At least this time I’ll be living in the same place for more than a month haha. This week has been the coldest weather since I’ve been in Philly! It snowed and it was an average 19 degrees, crazy right?! All I could think of is how many layers I can manager to wear when I go outside! My record has been 8 layers so far.
This outfit was taken before I left San Diego, hence the sleeveless dress! I love this Maurie & Eve printed peplum dress, it’s incredibly comfortable yet makes the whole look put together and chic. I accessorized it for the Winter season with tights, booties, and a cute wide brim hat, which is an absolute must!
Hope you’re week is going well! Thank you so much for keeping up with my blog, I promise to post more! <3

Here’s a quick post of my outfit on my first day at Free People! I think I’m starting to get used to this 30 degree weather. Everything’s going well here in Philly, yet I’m a bit homesick. I miss all my friends and family back in California, but FaceTime is seriously a lifesaver haha.

Happy Friday!! Wow this week went by so fast. I started my first day at Free People in the home office on Monday and it has been an amazing first week. The orientation, the meetings I’ve attended, and the people I’ve met and work with make this experience so memorable. I definitely won’t forget my first week here at Free People. I still feel like I’m dreaming haha.
Recently I’ve been pretty obsessed with the color combo: mustard yellow and plum. It’s such a great color for Fall/Winter as it feels very warm, comfortable, yet luxe at the same time.
Have a great weekend! I’ll be exploring more of Philly with my dad!
P.S. Sorry for the lack of posts lately, it’s been so hectic here!
As you might remember in a previous post, I have HUGE news to tell all of my amazing readers. Are you ready?? ….
You’re looking at the newest Web Stylist for Free People at the Urban Outfitters’ headquarters!! And, the headquarters is based in PHILADELPHIA! I’m moving to the East Coast, baby! I am beyond excited and still in shock. It’s been a huge dream of mine to move to the East Coast, and I’m finally starting to achieve my dreams in my career!
It’s been a long but worthwhile journey getting to where I am in my styling career, and I cannot be more thankful for all of my loved ones’ support and encouragement. I don’t think I could have done it without you guys (you know who you are!). As you might know, I started styling about four years ago in college and have fell in love with this career ever since. I’ve always been interested in fashion but I knew that fashion design wasn’t for me. I’m more about the overall vision and aesthetics, so styling just worked perfectly! There have definitely been a lot of ups and downs throughout these four years, but I overcame and dealt with each obstacle head on, thanks to my amazing team and support system!!
Here’s to a new and exciting chapter in my life! Philadelphia ain’t ready for me.
I want to thank all of my amazing readers for your constant support and loyalty, this blog is almost hitting its 1 year anniversary and the success is all thanks to YOU! Thank you thank you thank you!! I’ll be sure to keep up with this blog when I move to Philly and share with you all my new experiences! And if you recommend any places I have to see, eat, or any good areas to live in South Philly that you can suggest that’d be amazing!!
Monday, again?! Hahaha, the weekends keep going by faster and faster MY weekend was pretty eventful and definitely BUSY! Yesterday I styled a Holiday loookbook for Moderne with the owner, Janet, and it was AMAZING! We shot at the gorgeous restaurant, Burlap, in Del Mar (so if you’re a local in San Diego this is a must-see spot for brunch!!). We featured gorgeous dresses from Lovers + Friends and MINKPINK, which all be available on ShopModerne.com very soon. After doing this lookbook, I instantly got more excited for the Holidays. It’s October already?!
This outfit is such a great outfit for work, brunch with friends, or even walking around in the city! Can you believe that the jacket, top, AND skirt were all from a thrift store?! I think all of those pieces cost me less than $30. I love how this JCrew skirt flares out at the bottom but is very fitted and polished at the top. What do you think??
Another start to the week and Summer’s over?! I can’t believe Labor Day is already this coming Monday, everyone’s going to school already and it’s time for a whole new school year to start. It still feels weird to not go to school anymore, I definitely miss the friends, classes, and learning..but I don’t miss the tests at all! Haha!
I got this amazing dress from Living Royal, a fun online boutique that carries on-trend, affordable pieces! I love the rich royal blue, the one shoulder detail, and flared sleeve. The richness of this dress was perfect for this backdrop, I love this antique-inspired wall that we found in Del Mar yesterday, it worked perfectly! Also, I’m excited to share with you this new jewelry line that I’m wearing called DUDINE NYC, thanks to the ladies from Moderne! Dudine NYC has such amazing statement necklaces, intricate ring and bracelet designs, and a great color palette that can work for all outfits! This is definitely a jewelry line to watch!
Happy Friday!!! I still can’t believe how hot it is in San Diego ahh! I hope it ends soon. Besides that, I met with my good friend Pam who owns the amazing California Vintage Connect! It was great to catch up and I can’t wait to share with you our upcoming project!! SOO excited. <3 My weekend is filled with photoshoots and hopefully SOME relaxation.
Today’s outfit is all about how you can use earth tones for the Summer season as well! I love these printed shorts from Maurie & Eve, loose flowy Lovers + Friends blouse that I tucked in and pulled it all together with a skinny waist belt. I toughened it up with a cognac leather jacket that has a great vintage feel to it!
