How was everyone’s weekend?? Mine was pretty eventful! I watched Kevin Hart with friends on Friday (he’s so freakin hilarious if you get a chance to watch him live it’s a MUST!), and my boyfriend graduated from UCSD (my college also) yesterday!! His family traveled here from the Bay Area for the graduation and it was a great day with family and friends. ALSO, Happy Father’s Day to my crazy, funny, & loving dad! Sucks I couldn’t see him since they all live in the Bay Area, but I’ll get to see him soon.
Today’s outfit is highlighting one of my favorite trends, PASTELS! These beanpole art jeans from Insight51 have such an amazing print for Summer. The colors all work together and I decided to play up the pastels with an asymmetrical embellished top! I love how the colors flow nicely and I finished it off with chunky pumps and arm candy.
I hope everyone has a great day! Thank you so much for reading!
Who else is obsessed with the neon craze this season?! I love this sheer neon cutout top from No Rest for Bridget, the high-low hem is on-trend and very flattering. I paired it with these leopard shorts from DJPremium, which are so comfortable and a perfect staple this season! I will definitely be wearing these shorts as long as I can.
Have a great Wednesday! I’m keeping it short and simple today.
If you’re still on the hunt for the perfect Summer pieces, No Rest for Bridget has a great selection of loose tanks, sheer blouses, light jackets, and fun skirts to add some spice to your wardrobe!! Lucky for you, they are having a SITEWIDE sale of 25% off everything in the store!
It’s only the middle of the week and I already feel burnt out, who else is with me? Haha, but I can’t let that affect my mood! Today is all about bohemian inspired pieces! I loveee this yellow sheer/lace moto jacket from No Rest for Bridget, it’s incredibly comfy and a great lightweight layer for those Summer days! I paired it with a Lovers + Friends floral tunic from Moderne. The cut out sleeves are on-trend and a great piece to wear when going out with friends or lounging at the beach. I finished it off with brown leather shorts, beige bag from Leoluca to complete the earth-toned theme.
Today’s finally the day! DJPremium‘s Vacation Getaway lookbook will be live today on DJPremium.com and I can’t wait to share it with you all. It’s been a long journey but I’m especially proud of this lookbook, more than any other project I was in charge of. Stay tuned today when I post the newest lookbook.
Can you tell I’m still obsessed with mint this season? It’s such a flattering color and I’ve always been a sucker for pastels. I love this sweater, it’s insanely lightweight, high-low hemline, and the holes make it a perfect layering piece this season! And these white textured shorts from No Rest for Bridget are just as comfortable, which is exactly what I need shorts to feel like! Don’t you hate it when shorts don’t fit right? The worst. ;P
Have a great Wednesday everyone! And thank you for reading <3
Woohooo it’s finally FRIDAY! Yesterday we shot DJPremium’s Summer lookbook and it turned out AMAZING. It was a special shoot because we featured the amazing fashion bloggers, Olivia from Lusttforlife.com and Adam from IamGalla.com! It was great to meet such inspirational people in fashion and it was so inspiring to watch them style and create looks for their “vacation getaway”. After months of planning, conceptualizing, and prepping, the lookbook was a complete success. I love my team and collaboration definitely pays off. I will post behind the scenes pictures soon, so stay tuned.
Today’s outfit is pretty simple and casual chic. I played with shades of light brown with my beige leather jacket, leopard shorts, and peach silk top. I added a punch of neon with my choker necklace, which made it more of my style. I loveee these leopard shorts from No Rest for Bridget, they’re incredibly comfy AND stretchy (bonus!) and it’s a great staple piece for those hot summer days.
TGIF TGIF TGIF!! The weather is beautiful outside and I’m ready to go and start my weekend! I’m wearing a super casual outfit with a pop of glam with this gold sparkly top. I love the denim vest and chevron skirt from No Rest for Bridget, it keeps the look feeling casual and chic.
May the Fourth be with you!! Happy Friday everyone! I’m going to have a small dinner with my close friends then go out after for my birthday! It’s pretty fun having my birthday on Cinco de Mayo, more of an excuse to drink and party hard with friends.
Today’s outfit is filled with light pastels and feminine details. I am in LOVE with this mint green knit sweater, and the asymmetrical back is perfect touch. I wanted to add some prints and color to this outfit with my floral blouse and mustard mini skirt. The textures from the mustard skirt and the sweater go very well together and I love how interesting yet simple this outfit is.
Hope everyone has a great and fun-filled weekend!! I’ll post birthday pictures next week! <3
Yesterday was my older sister’s birthday, so first I want to greet her HAPPY BIRTHDAYYY!! I’ll finally get to see her and the rest of my fam later this month when I visit for Memorial Day weekend, I’m so excited it’s been too long.
You won’t even BELIEVE how excited I was to get this jacket in the mail! It’s sheer, has a galaxy print, AND is a biker jacket…it’s simply perfection. I decided to play with the shades of blue/green in this jacket with this waterfall skirt, the teal bustier and a splash of neon (very big trend this season!)
And! I got an email from JCPenney yesterday for a project I can’t wait to share with you guys this month! Stay tuned
Yes, there’s something different about me in today’s outfit post…I got hair extensions!!! I asked my good friend Trai Nguyen who’s a hairstylist to help me dye hair extensions in an ombre effect. It was my first time really experimenting with hair dyes, it was such a fun experience and I’m so anxious to get more extensions and wigs haha.
These leopard printed shorts and mint green blouse work so well together in such an unexpected way. Both from No Rest for Bridget, which has the most trendy and affordable clothing, these two pieces are my staple pieces this Summer!
Happy Monday! I’m especially excited since this Saturday is my birthday (woot woot Cinco de Mayo!). Can’t wait to spend time with my friends and loved ones <3
