Happy New Year everyone! 2012 has been a crazy and amazing rollercoaster, full of ups, downs, and challenges and opportunities that I couldn’t have imagined.  Looking back at this past year in my previous post, I am so thankful and blessed for what life has brought me this year.  And because of that, I am even more ready and excited for 2013!  Do you have a New Year’s Resolution? I’m still working on mine. :)

I finally made the big move to the East Coast and am loving it in Philadelphia! Thankfully my dad is here for 2 weeks to help me move in and get settled. I’ll keep you all posted on my new adventure in Philly! <3

Happy New Year!  This is my first post into the new year, can’t believe it!  Sticking to my new Fashion Resolution, I played up with color again. :)  I was never really a fan of orange and blue together, but when I scored this amazing snakeskin leather skirt for $10 it only made sense to pair orange with its complementary color–blue.  This outfit was so vibrant and incredibly fun to pull off, plus my detailed leather jacket roughed it up a bit.  Time to start 2012 with a bit of attitude! ;)

Today’s Outfit: My Fashion Resolution

It’s two days after Christmas, and though it felt like the holidays went by so fast, I’m incredibly blessed to spend time with my family and close friends whom I’ve missed dearly.  It was a great couple of days to reflect on this past year.  Beyond anything else, the one thing I’ve learned from this past year was to go for it.  You are the only one who can make a difference in your life. Be confident and believe in yourself.  Life is about risks, so why not take them?!  Looking back. I’m really glad I made the risks that I did–I met and worked with so many talented people, I am excelling in my job as a stylist, and have a great relationship with the people who matter most in my life.

One of the resolutions I have for the new year is to really go out of my comfort zone, life wise and fashion wise. ;)  I had so much fun with this color combination of pink and teal.  I loved both colors very much alone, but never tried them together until now!  I think the colors complement well and it definitely was a fashion risk I loveeeee.  Plus I scored the teal leather skirt at the thrift store for only $10!  What a deal.
