Monday, again?! Hahaha, the weekends keep going by faster and faster :P MY weekend was pretty eventful and definitely BUSY! Yesterday I styled a Holiday loookbook for Moderne with the owner, Janet, and it was AMAZING! We shot at the gorgeous restaurant, Burlap, in Del Mar (so if you’re a local in San Diego this is a must-see spot for brunch!!). We featured gorgeous dresses from Lovers + Friends and MINKPINK, which all be available on ShopModerne.com very soon.  After doing this lookbook, I instantly got more excited for the Holidays. It’s October already?!

This outfit is such a great outfit for work, brunch with friends, or even walking around in the city!  Can you believe that the jacket, top, AND skirt were all from a thrift store?! I think all of those pieces cost me less than $30. ;) I love how this JCrew skirt flares out at the bottom but is very fitted and polished at the top.  What do you think??

Ahhh, Monday already?! Haha.  I’m beating the Monday blues with this GORGEOUS peplum printed dress by Maurie & Eve (thanks to my girl Charlestina!).  The scarf-like print throughout the dress is the perfect balance of being bold and chic. Of course, I wanted to spotlight the peplum dress and kept my accessories simple and clean. :)

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend!  I’m sorry for posting a little later, but I’m finally getting things back to normal after my crazy week of work, lookbook prep, photo shoots for clients and styling a killer editorial! Though this previous week was filled with anxiety, stress, and tons of work, I finished each big project with a huge smile on my face and the pride of a job well done.  I’m so lucky to have such an amazing and talented team/support system by my side throughout these crazy times, thus creating AMAZING images! I cannot wait to share with you my latest projects!

Let’s talk about this look, shall we?! This loose knit sweater by Wildfox Couture has such a vibrant blue color, and fun star prints that make it such a comfy, relaxed, and chic piece! I can totally imagine myself just lounging at home wearing this sweater with comfy shorts and my puppy. ;)  But just for you I decided to edge it up with a leather skirt, fun wedges, and spiked jewelry!  What do you guys think??

Decided to go a little crazier with the editing since these wedge sneakers are freakin awesome.  I’ve been obsessing over wedge sneakers this coming season, it’s the easiest way to toughen up any look and give it a unique edge!  I decided to pair the sneakers with my faux leather pieces that are definite wardrobe staples this Fall.  Who else has tomorrow off?? I’m so excited to have an extra day to relax and catch up on my other projects before the work week starts.

Another start to the week and Summer’s over?!  I can’t believe Labor Day is already this coming Monday, everyone’s going to school already and it’s time for a whole new school year to start.  It still feels weird to not go to school anymore, I definitely miss the friends, classes, and learning..but I don’t miss the tests at all! Haha!

I got this amazing dress from Living Royal, a fun online boutique that carries on-trend, affordable pieces! I love the rich royal blue, the one shoulder detail, and flared sleeve.  The richness of this dress was perfect for this backdrop, I love this antique-inspired wall that we found in Del Mar yesterday, it worked perfectly!  Also, I’m excited to share with you this new jewelry line that I’m wearing called DUDINE NYC, thanks to the ladies from Moderne!  Dudine NYC has such amazing statement necklaces, intricate ring and bracelet designs, and a great color palette that can work for all outfits!  This is definitely a jewelry line to watch!

Who else is ready for this week to be over?! Haha!  I am trying to beat the heat with this sheer For Love and Lemons dress that has such a unique shape and keeps the dress looking flirty, feminine and chic! Sheer cut outs are always a plus for me. I toughened the dress up with this chain linked bag, a bright moto jacket, and sandals!

Why is it Monday already?? :( Haha, hope you all had a great weekend! I styled photo shoots Saturday and Sunday, so it definitely was a little stressful, chaotic, and tiring due to the crazy heat and being attacked by bugs! Even with all of the craziness, both shoots turned out great and I can’t wait to see the end results!

So let’s talk about this look.  I found this vintage inspired swimsuit on ASOS and absolutely fell in love with the print and style.  Crop tops and bandeau tops are still around this season and I decided to wear this bikini top in my outfit! I paired it with a fun faux leather skirt, summery wedges, and colorful jewelry!

Happy Friday!!! I still can’t believe how hot it is in San Diego ahh! I hope it ends soon.  Besides that, I met with my good friend Pam who owns the amazing California Vintage Connect!  It was great to catch up and I can’t wait to share with you our upcoming project!! SOO excited. <3 My weekend is filled with photoshoots and hopefully SOME relaxation. ;)

Today’s outfit is all about how you can use earth tones for the Summer season as well!  I love these printed shorts from Maurie & Eve, loose flowy Lovers + Friends blouse that I tucked in and pulled it all together with a skinny waist belt.  I toughened it up with a cognac leather jacket that has a great vintage feel to it!

Today is Friday, which means it’s time to make a BOLD statement!! I couldn’t get enough of Naven’s vibrant blue dress from Moderne, the sweetheart bodice, and gold rope straps create a unique dress that is sure to stand out amongst the crowd. I decided to up the wow-factor of this outfit with my sheer galaxy moto jacket to give it some edge and texture.

A Moderne Take on Fashion

As you can obviously tell from reading my blog posts, one of my favorite online boutiques are Moderne!  They carry amazing brands such as Wildfox Couture, MinkPink, Lovers + Friends and more!  Moderne online boutique embraces the laid back yet chic and edgy look that guys and girls can’t get enough of.  I’d like to do a tribute to Moderne and share with you some of my favorite looks that feature their pieces! ;)

This is my newest look featuring Moderne.  I love how flowy and loose this Lovers + Friends blouse is and the open sleeves add a modern sophistication to this feminine look!

I’m a HUGE fan of bright color and prints, and this Charlie Jade dress does not disappoint!

I’m embracing a softer color palette with this sheer floral Lovers + Friends tunic, sheer yellow jacket and leather shorts.

Colorblocking is a huge trend this season, I love pairing two colors together to create a bright and vibrant look!  I was inspired by watermelon in this look and I love how well the green pairs with this fun Lovers + Friends pink dress!

I had SO much fun with this outfit! I definitely took a risk with this floral print pants, floral printed sandals, AND a pastel colored tunic from Wildfox Couture that was the perfect touch!
