This dress from YA Los Angeles has the best lace detailing for this dress.  It makes it very special and unique compared to my other dresses.  I can’t wait to show this off. ;) The gorgeous lace back is extremely flattering and the box in the front is ultra-feminine, perfect for my style!!

Today’s Outfit: Lacey Edge

Photography by Joshua Allen Green, Makeup/hair by KC Witkamp

Outfit details: Vest & belt: California Vintage Connect, Lace bodysuit: Forever 21, Skirt: H&M, Booties: Aldo

After using this blue vest and black belt in my previous posts (1st outfit, 2nd outfit), I decided to play with these pieces again and used darker pieces for an edgier, rocker-inspired look.  I’m so inspired by vests after seeing it in all of my favorite blogs and I wanted to style it my own way.  The lace underneath gives it a feminine and edgy touch, and the booties and belt just top off the entire outfit. :)   How would you wear long vests for Spring?

Today’s Outfit: Fur, Crochet, & Lace..

Photography by Joshua Allen Green, Makeup/Hair by KC Witkamp

Outfit details: Fur coat & Crochet top: California Vintage Connect, Shorts: Boutique in NYC, Booties: Lucky Brand, Jewelry, Forever 21

Who doesn’t love fur during the Winter?? Well, San Diego winter is technically the beginning of Spring. ;) I wanted to change up the style by pairing it with lighter, Spring-like pieces to give it a happier feel! This crochet top has such great detailing and my lace shorts that I found for only $10 at a boutique added even more texture to this fur coat!  Would you wear a fur coat during the Springtime? Try it like how I did and let me know how it turns out!

Today’s Outfit: Can’t Go Wrong

Photography by Joshua Allen Green, Hair/Makeup by KC Witkamp

Outfit details: Vest: California Vintage Connect, Lace jacket: Yesstyle, Collared shirt: Forever 21, Skirt: H&M, Booties: Dolce Vita

When I saw this amazing blue vest I knew I wanted to pair it with an unexpected color: different shades of brown.  My mix of textures with the lace sleeved-jacket, sheer button down and body-con skirt plays up this vibrant vest! The colors work so well together in such an unexpected way, and I LOVE it.  You definitely can’t go wrong with pairing new things together, you might just surprise yourself. ;)

Today’s Outfit: The 3L’s

Photography by Joshua Allen Green

Outfit details: Leather paneled blazer: H&M, Leopard top: Cotton On, Lace shorts: Forever 21, Booties: Steve Madden

Who doesn’t love the 3L’s? Leather, leopard, and lace.  It’s one of the best and easiest combinations to pull off in any outfit!  Here’s my different take on a typical “work outfit”. I played up with the proportions and used a long fitted blazer with lace shorts and a loose top.  The fitted blazer contrasts with the loose blouse and feminine shorts, creating a slimming silhouette.  I made this outfit winter-appropriate by pairing black tights and booties.  Though there is a combination of different textures, it all looks put together and polished.  If you want to pull off a similar look, opt for lightweight fabrics and structured pieces for a contrasting look.

I’m in lovee with my new H&M blazer! The leather paneled sleeves and pockets change up a typical black blazer.  This is definitely my go-to blazer this season! :)

What is your go-to item this Winter??
