So today, Cinco de Mayo, is my birthday!! I turn 24 today and it’s my first birthday in Philadelphia! I had a great weekend, full of dance, laughs, great talks with friends, and relaxation. It was definitely what I needed. When I first saw this jacket at work, I fell in love and knew I had to get my hands on it. The beautiful embroidery throughout the jacket, the textured material, and the overall lightness of the jacket makes it such a special piece. This is my birthday present to myself, haha.
I hope you all had a great weekend!! Now it’s time to relax and watch movies on TBS, my guilty pleasure. 😉
Hi my beautiful readers!! Can you believe Christmas is coming SO SOON?! Ahhh, I still haven’t finished my Christmas shopping haha. With Christmas around the corner, that means I’ll be moving to the east coast very very soon. (insert scream here). I’m so excited, anxious, nervous, giddy, etc etc etc! I have no idea how I’m feeling anymore haha. Though I’m super busy with all this going on, I gotta keep up with my blog for you!
Burgundy and oxblood are gorgeous colors this season, it’s such a rich, luxe color that spices up any look. I love this faux leather skater skirt from ROMWE, this color goes well with neutrals, and I made it even edgier with my Zara jacket, a beanie, and fun booties!
Outfit details: Pink dress: Vintage, Jacket: ASOS (old), Pumps: Steve Madden
This dress is one of those dresses that will make your jaw drop. Finding it at a vintage shop for only $20 was the perfect cherry on top of this AMAZING find! I decided to contrast this feminine dress with an edgy jacket that I bought on ASOS.com last year. This jacket is insanely unique with the padded sleeves and brown shades. I was so inspired by Style Scrapbook‘s post with this jacket that I had to buy it for myself! I love how edgy it can make any look. Plus the intricate beaded details in this dress add to this “one of a kind” look I loveee. <3
I picked up this gorgeous color blocked jacket from Goodwill and fell in love. Its unique suede material and color-blocked pattern was something I couldn’t resist! And for $6 it was meant to be. 😉 Happy Birthday to my amazing and supportive boyfriend!! We went to Benihanas last night and the dinner was sooo delicious. I love you!!
TGIF…for real! It’s been a crazy week with work, my side projects, and this blog. But I’m loving the feeling of being busy! San Diego is too good to us today, highs in the 70s today? Perfect to run all over town prepping the last minute details for tomorrow’s Serendipity Magazine photoshoot!
