Today’s Outfit: Ikat Prints for Days

I scored these Ikat printed pants (which are one of the big Spring trends!) from a local thrift store for only $10 and fell in love with the print, the fit, and how easy it makes such a huge statement! I decided to contrast the pants with a classic tweed jacket, and the spiked necklace and piles of bracelets edged up the entire outfit.

Guess who bought tickets to watch WICKED next month?! It was a birthday present to myself and I am soo excited to watch it with my boyfriend! :D Who has seen the play? My entire family saw and highly recommend it.

Inspiration: Ikat Printed Pants

Ikat prints were huge on the Spring 2012 runways; the elaborate prints are the perfect statement pieces for any outfit this season!  I am obsessed with these Current/Elliott jeans available at Shopbop.  The colors work so well with each other, and the green tones are so on-trend! I paired these statement pants with classic pieces, such as this silk Topshop top and waterfall blazer.  You can contrast these fitted pants with something flowy and loose on top.  I finished it off with chic sandals and light jewelry.
