Hi my beautiful readers!! Can you believe Christmas is coming SO SOON?! Ahhh, I still haven’t finished my Christmas shopping haha. With Christmas around the corner, that means I’ll be moving to the east coast very very soon. (insert scream here). I’m so excited, anxious, nervous, giddy, etc etc etc! I have no idea how I’m feeling anymore haha. Though I’m super busy with all this going on, I gotta keep up with my blog for you!
Burgundy and oxblood are gorgeous colors this season, it’s such a rich, luxe color that spices up any look. I love this faux leather skater skirt from ROMWE, this color goes well with neutrals, and I made it even edgier with my Zara jacket, a beanie, and fun booties!
Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was filled with meetings on Saturday, and I worked on an amazing photo AND video shoot for my blog yesterday! I can’t wait to share with you my latest projects that I’ve been working on. Stay tuned.
Today I’m totally loving the colorblocking trend still, but I love doing pastel colorblocking for Summer! This gorgeous purple & orange colorblock cardigan from TheShopPR has insane back details which really make a statement. I complemented the colors with floral printed shorts in pastel prints and a pastel blue clutch to add more flair! I love this top from Marshalls, the neutral colors make it very wearable and I love the waterfall chiffon details on the front and back! And for $12.99, who can’t pass it up!?
I either went overboard with color or did the right amount, either way COLOR is very on-trend this Spring I decided to go all out and play with color! I’m a little color-crazed nowadays. A colorful outfit always brightens my day, and I love the different elements in this look.
When I saw this amazing blue vest I knew I wanted to pair it with an unexpected color: different shades of brown. My mix of textures with the lace sleeved-jacket, sheer button down and body-con skirt plays up this vibrant vest! The colors work so well together in such an unexpected way, and I LOVE it. You definitely can’t go wrong with pairing new things together, you might just surprise yourself.
While I was prepping for the J.Crew inspired shoot last week, I came across this ah-mazing color blocked top at Goodwill for only $5! What a steal, the top reminds me of the cool color blocked Motel dresses! I wanted to change up the vibe for this look and paired it with even more color. The purple blazer balances out the colors and also still keeps it fun! The sheer black button down underneath ties all of the colorful pieces together, and leaves a sense of classiness. Time to ROCK OUT! Who’s with me?!
