Happy Tuesday everyone!  Today’s outfit is a special one, I was asked to be the featured May Blogger for JCPenney‘s birthstones campaign! Since it was my birthday this month (as you may remember here), I was gifted this beautiful emerald necklace and gift card from JCPenney!  With the gift card, I bought this gorgeous pink/salmon loose blazer from MNG by Mango’s collection in the JCPenney stores! It fits so well and has a great shape that is a perfect layering piece for those Summer days! :) I will be featured on JCPenney’s Chictopia page later this week.  Thank you so much JCPenney, it was so much fun to shop and create a unique look that was inspired by my birthstone!

I also introduced a special guest in today’s post, my adorable yet crazy dog Buster!  He is such a model. ;)

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend! It was so great to visit my family back in the Bay Area for a fun filled weekend!  Sunday was my sister’s Bridal Shower, which was Saved by the Bell/80′s themed! My boyfriend and I dressed up as Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski. ;) Here are some of the pictures from the party:

Don’t you love my “I <3 Zack Morris” shirt?! Can’t believe I found it at the bottom of my drawers in my old room, I’ve had it since I was 15 haha!

YAY It’s finally Friday! :) Today I’m especially excited because I finally get to fly home to the Bay Area (Northern California) and visit my family! This weekend is jam packed with family obligations.  Tomorrow is my boyfriend Kyle’s sister’s high school graduation at my alma mater. I can’t wait to see my high school teachers again! And Sunday is my older sister’s Bridal Shower! It’s definitely a family filled weekend and I can’t be even more excited.

Today’s outfit is very chill and has a pop of statement prints with my floral shorts! I lovee all of the Forever 21 bottoms, their jeans and shorts fit so well on me and it’s also a big plus that they’re so affordable! :) I love this classic blouse with black lining, it works for going work, relaxing on the weekend, or going out with friends! Such a great buy!
