Oh, how I love holiday weekends!  That extra was much needed this weekend, as I was busy running errands, going on meetings, and cleaning my house! Phew! On Sunday I went to the swap meet here in San Diego for the first time with my boyfriend and I found some great unique jewelry for cheap!  How did you spend your 3-day weekend?

As an ode to Labor Day, I of course wore all white.  This asymmetrical shift dress from Maurie & Eve is to-die for and feels amazing on.  I love the different silhouette and a hint of textured detailing from the fabrics.  I wanted to really showcase this dress by pairing them with easy, neutral accessories.

Thanks for reading loves! <3

Today’s Outfit: Candy Canes

Outfit details: Dress: c/o YA Los Angeles, Top: Lovers + Friends c/o Lobby Store, Sandals: Steve Madden (similar), Jewelry: Vintage

This strapless dress from YA Los Angeles (available at Piperlime.com) has the perfect asymmetrical shape (currently obsessed) and color for Spring! I think I would wear this to a Spring/Summer wedding as well, the strapless bodice has ruched details and it moves so effortlessly in the wind.  I decided to layer this dress with a silk blouse from Lovers + Friends, it has the same feel as the dress.  The light layers and whimsical feel this top brings adds the perfect feminine touch to this wind-loving outfit. ;)

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I definitely shopped to my heart’s content and had a fun test shoot with Emily Soto! You can check out some of the behind the scenes pictures on my Instagram (@smileforstyle), follow me! :)

Today’s Outfit: Shades of Grey

Photography: Joshua Allen Green, Makeup/Hair: Shrae Stanford

Outfit details: Jacket: from Mikkat Market, Top: Cotton On, Jeans: Forever 21, Booties: Zigi Soho, Scarf: H&M

After all of my colorful and vibrant outfit posts, I wanted to change it up with a darker color palette. I lovee my new jacket I bought from Mikkat Market that I had to wear it again this week!  The suede material is incredibly soft, yet has an edge to the look.  I paired the jacket with an asymmetrical button down, skinny jeans, and a circle scarf.  This silhouette is very clean and easy to wear, especially when I’m on location styling photo shoots.

What are you doing this weekend?!
