After making this simple DIY collar (I used my pearl earrings because I didn’t have fabric glue and this was the best alternative!), I knew I wanted to mix this look with a color palette I don’t do so much–red, white and blue! I know I know, I’m a little too early to be celebrating fourth of July, but this collar really made me think out of the box and it turned into a patriotic masterpiece. 
Plus this adorable cross-body bag was given me by Jeffrey Campbell himself! When I went to the MAGIC convention in Las Vegas for work last summer, we stopped by the Jeffrey Campbell booth (which was incredibly busy and full of amazing pieces) and met the genius himself. He is soo sweet and very down to earth; it was such a pleasure to meet such an influential man in the fashion industry. This bag is a great momento from that trip and I hope I did the bag justice with this outfit.
